Over 300 tons of sand has been shipped in to create a huge beach volleyball court in MB Financial Park at Rosemont for the EVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. All-American professional men's and women's beach volleyball teams from across the nation have competed in 20 cities across the country in order to qualify to participate in the EVP Rocks Rosemont championship this Friday, July 18th, and Saturday, July 19th. This weekend will be the culmination of months of competition, with the tournament determining the winners of $10,000 in prizes. All matches are completely free and open to the public, and will run throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Perfect for the whole family, other fun activities will be interspersed throughout the weekend, including serving contests, meet and greets, and even a Dinner with the Pros at Adobe Grill on Friday night at 7 p.m.
